Chiropractors in the state of New Jersey will be permitted to prescribe medical tests, provide nutritional counseling, and sell supplements after bill (S565) passed both legislative houses this week.
The legislation will bring New Jersey in line with other states that have similar regulations by expanding treatment options. Currently, treating extremities such as hands and feet is permissible only if they are directly related to problems in the spine.
